I just heard on the radio a report that ...

	ROBERT FRIPP!!!

and Tony Banks are going to be the new Genesis!  Fripp was quoted as
saying he had reached a "plateau" with Crimson and wanted to challenge
himself to creating music with the notoriously hard-to-work-with Banks.
He felt that Banks' synthesizer textures were something he had never
truly tried to compose music for (or collaborate in conjunction with)
and this would be a bold new direction for the guitarist.

A spokesman for Genesis confirmed the rumors today, and said that Banks
was looking forward to this collaboration with  the musician whose
influence was heavy in Genesis' formative years.

Details on who else will be in the band, if anyone, and whether or not
they'll tour, have yet to be decided.
